Who you are?

I am Mike Talleda, President of the 9-11 Help America Foundation.

 Why you're involved?

One of the reasons I am involved is to serve our brave men and women who have lost a loved one or have been wounded in our wars. 

Just to share a moment - one of our guys was being interviewed by the press. He said that ever since he was a little boy, he had wanted to be a soldier and "I'm sorry I don’t have anything else to give to the army." He also stated that if he had to do it all over again, he would. This is something he said from his wheelchair.  He was shot by a sniper in Iraq and was paralyzed from the waist down.

I want to serve people like that.
